Freddie Mac Releases Second Quarter 2008 Financial Results

Freddie Mac reported a net loss of $821 million, or $1.63 per diluted common share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. Despite challenging conditions, Freddie Mac continued to support the nation's housing markets by providing critical liquidity and affordability.
