The Freddie Mac Uniform Instruments are now available in word processing format.
Originators should use Microsoft Word 6.0/95 or higher (or compatible word processing
software) when accessing the instruments provided on this website.
The Uniform Instruments provided on this website are the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and Freddie Mac Notes, Riders, and Security Instruments (Deeds of Trust and Mortgages) used when originating Single-Family residential mortgage loans, in all States and U. S. Territories, as identified in the List of Single-Family Uniform Instruments provided on this website and also identified in Exhibit 4 of the Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (the "Single-Family Guide"). Also included is Form 65 - Uniform Residential Loan Application and Form 65A - Statement of Assets and Liabilities. Spanish translations of the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Uniform Instruments are also available on this website. The translations are meant to complement the English-language document a borrower would sign.
When using Uniform Instruments to originate mortgages for sale to Freddie Mac,
Freddie Mac-approved Seller/Servicers must comply with the terms and conditions
of the Single-Family Guide and Seller's other Purchase Documents (as that term
is defined in the Single-Family Guide.)
