FREDDIE MAC CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER PATRICIA COOK TO ADDRESS LEHMAN BROTHERS FINANCIAL SERVICES CONFERENCE

McLean, VA – Patricia Cook, chief business officer of Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE), will address the Lehman Brothers Financial Services Conference in New York City on Monday, September 10, 2007, at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.

A live webcast of the speech will be available through a link on Freddie Mac's Investor Relations Web page at www.FreddieMac.com/investors/webcasts.  The webcast archive will be available beginning at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, and will remain available for approximately 90 days.
