FREDDIE MAC TO ISSUE FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR FIRST AND SECOND QUARTERS OF 2005 ON

McLean, VA – Freddie Mac (NYSE:FRE) today announced that the company will release its financial results for the first and second quarters of 2005 following the NYSE market close on Wednesday, August 31, 2005.

The company will hold a conference call at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, to discuss the company's results.
