FREDDIE MAC ADDS MONTHLY AUCTIONS OF ONE-MONTH REFERENCE BILLSĀ® TO ITS 2007 REFERENCE BILLS CALENDARMcLean, VA – Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) today announced that it has revised its 2007 Reference Bills® calendar [PDF 1.0M] to include a monthly auction of one-month Reference Bills. Auctions of one-month Reference Bills will continue to provide the index for floating-rate multifamily mortgage loans that are indexed to these securities. One-month Reference Bills will be auctioned on the last Wednesday of each month. The first one-month auction will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007. The revised 2007 Reference Bills calendar is available on the Debt and Mortgage Securities pages of the company's Web site at www.Freddie/Mac.com. No additional changes were made to Freddie Mac's funding calendars, which provide announcement, pricing and settlement dates for Reference Notes® securities, potential issuance weeks for Reference REMICSM securities and announcement and auction dates for Reference Bills® securities.
