Frequently Asked Multifamily Guide Questions
Q. I am a Freddie Mac multifamily seller/servicer, how can I get access to the Guide for new employees at my company?
A. Contact your MultiSuite® on the Internet systems administrator to request user IDs and passwords needed to access the Internet version of the Guide through MultiSuite on the Internet.
Q. How can I get a subscription to the Multifamily Guide for a legal firm, consultant, etc., that works with me on Freddie Mac transactions?
The firm should contact AllRegs directly at (800) 848-4904 for the Guide. Freddie Mac only provides free Guide subscriptions for our seller/servicers.
Q. Will I need training to learn to use the Guide?
A. No. The Guide is designed to be intuitive and there is a "Help" link on the AllRegs' website that explains how to use all the features of the online Guide. Unlimited telephone assistance from the experienced staff at AllRegs is just a phone call away at (651) 683-9705.
Q. Can I place personal notes within the body of my Guide?
A. Yes. There are two types of notes available in the Internet version of the Guide,"Private" and "Public". Only you can see private notes, while public notes can be viewed by everyone in your organization. Click on the "Notes" tab in the online Guide for instructions on how to use this feature.
Q. Can I search the Guide for a particular topic or word?
A. Yes. In the Internet version of the Guide, select the search tab, then click on the Freddie Mac Multifamily checkbox, enter a word or phrase you would like to find and select how you want AllRegs to search for that word or phrase (all words, any words, exact phrase or find synonyms). A list of sections that include this word or phrase will appear in the right-hand panel with links to searched word or phrase.
Q. How can I tell what’s changed in the Guide?
A. There are four ways you can see what’s changed. First, we will give you a preview of upcoming Guide changes in our Developments newsletter. Second, we will continue to provide electronic bulletin cover letters describing the changes we are making. Third, you can quickly read about changes by clicking on "Recent Updates" on the main screen of AllRegs and looking under Freddie Mac Multifamily for the most recent month. There you’ll see a summary of any bulletins, with links to the sections of the Guide that have changed. Finally, new language in the text of the Guide will be highlighted.
Q. Who do I call if I can't access the Internet version of the Guide?
A. If you are experiencing technical difficulties with the Guide Internet site, call AllRegs at (651) 683-9705.
Q. I am a Freddie Mac Multifamily seller/servicer. How can I find out who within my company has access to the Guide?
