Securities Trading InformationTrading Policy
Freddie Mac's securities trading policy places restrictions on trading in Freddie Mac stock by Board members and certain senior officers of Freddie Mac. Freddie Mac's insider trading and pre-clearance policies prohibit Board members and employees from trading in Freddie Mac securities while in possession of material inside information. These policies are consistent with applicable law and corporate best practices. The securities trading policy prohibits "short-swing" transactions in Freddie Mac equity securities (that is, any pair of acquisitions and dispositions occurring within less than 6 months) by Board members and certain senior officers and requires those individuals to file equity securities transactions and ownership reports with Freddie Mac that parallel those prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission. These reports, which include an initial report of beneficial ownership on Form 3 and transactional reports on Form 4, are filed with Freddie Mac. Reports on Form 4 are published within 2 business days of a stock transaction by a Board member or reporting officer. Click here
