Laurence E. Hirsch has served as chairman of Highlander Partners, L.P., a private equity firm, since 2004.  Mr. Hirsch served as CEO of Centex Corporation, a large homebuilder, from 1988 until his retirement in 2004 and as its chairman of the board from 1991 until March 2004.  He also serves as the chairman of the board of directors of Eagle Materials Inc. and as a director of A. H. Belo Corporation.   In addition, he is chairman of the Center for European Policy Analysis in Washington, D.C.
