Working Mother Magazine Honors Tujuanna Williams, Senior Diversity Director
Tujuanna Williams, Freddie Mac's senior diversity director, has been selected as one of Working Mother Magazine's Top 30 Working Mothers of the Year. Working Mother chose Tujuanna for her remarkable success in balancing work and family life. Tujuanna heads Freddie Mac's Office of Diversity & Inclusion, a critical function in which she is responsible for executing the corporate diversity plan, promoting an inclusive culture, and enhancing the company's ability to attract and retain top talent. She is the mother of two daughters and a leader in her community through her work to raise breast cancer awareness, and other efforts.
"I'm thrilled to be honored as one of Working Mother Magazine's Top 30 Working Mothers of the Year," says Tujuanna. "This award is really a tribute to the many working mothers throughout the company who strive every day to do their best both at work and at home."
The 2009 honorees, chosen from a wide array of applicants from across the country, will be honored at Working Mother's 30th birthday party on May 8 in New York City.
"Working moms live complex, rich lives and are at the ready even in times of economic duress, when family dynamics shift and unexpected challenges arise," says Suzanne Riss, editor in chief, Working Mother. "We are pleased to honor 30 remarkable women for Working Mother magazine's 30th birthday."
Working Mother Magazine is the premier publication for information and resources for working mothers today. Over the years, Working Mother has also recognized Freddie Mac as a Top Company for Working Mothers.
